The Lope de Vega University Residence, located in the historic centre of Alcalá de Henares, opened its doors in September 2017 and hosts more than 400 national and international students. It is part of a project of renovation and sustainable rehabilitation of a historical building part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Alcalá de Henares.
Less than 100m from the university’s central library, the Residencia Universitaria, Lope de Vega University Residence has been fully converted from a historic military barracks into one of the most impressive student accommodations buildings in the world. It has many room types including a whole floor of stylish living “under the eaves”. It also includes a huge (really huge) patio space where our students can relax, study or carry out any number of outdoor activities.
